  1. no, I love my son's name.

  2. No but my parents did, and i have hated it ever since i can remember

  3. no im really happy with my sons name .

  4. Oh NO! I named my daughte Loralei (pronuounced Laura-Lie) and I still love it so much. My oldest son is a Jr so there was no regrets there either and my uncle died shortly after i found out i was pregnant and so i named my baby (now 8 months old) after him (DeWayne) and I love his middle name too Alexander. I think that u should give your childs name ALOT of thought before u decide or u may end up getting stuck (or sticking your child with) a name u neither like. And dont let one parent pick the name, make it a joint decision so no one resents the other one for picking something that sounds just plain weird.

  5. Oh no Sylv ...i always said i would name a boy after my dad and i did with Thomas and Kylie i had always loved this name and when we found out we having twins wow there was our Kylie and Thomas

  6. Always a problem when you chose fashionable names - chose something traditional that has acceptable shortenings and you can't go far wrong. You could always have a family nickname for your child if you really regret the given name, but check with them first, it's their name now!

  7. no way! i love my kids names , that is why i picked them!

  8. Sort of LOL. When I named my daughter, her name wasnt that popular and kind of unheard of around here. Now (in no way saying its popular  just because i named my daughter that LOL) you hear it everywhere. I really wished we would have went with the other name we had picked  now =-(. You could always give your child a cool nick name if you really hate the name you chose =-)

  9. not really..though with my eldest i think his name is still nice, my youngest's name i just love more and more each year. so out of the two i actually prefer my 2nd sons name. im glad i had boys though as the girls nmaes we picked at the time i cant stand now!!

  10. Yes yes yes.....

It was daddy chose the name,I didn't mind at the time as I thought "it sounds nice" although it was not my first choice but daddy is stubborn!!

Im a first time mum, and now after 9 months, I started to realise "oh,its kinda complicated name to call a little baby"

And my in law just kept calling her a shorten name which I don't like somehow!

Well...somehow and somewhat....I was thinking the other day "can i actually change her name now (she's 9 months old)? is it possible to change the name on the birth certificate although I know its alright to change on passport??"(if we do change,I want it changed on birth certificate too)

Can I actually? anyone got any ideas on this? haa...

  11. not me, but my soon to be husband named his second yougest Alan Jr. (his is Alan, lol), and he regrets it says it get to confusing, and he hates the nickname his ex-wife gave their son (A.J.)
