Does everyone go thru nesting?

Im almost 39wks and still haven't had the whole nesting phase i got it the middle of my 2nd trimester.. does everyone go thru the nesting phase before giving birth? i feel like im so exhausted lately and all i wanna do is sleep because i dont ever feel real well when i wake up in the morning. So does that mean i wont have a nesting phase again or i will ?

I never did. I so wish I had the energy for it.

My first pregnancy they induced me...so I didnt have the natural chemical process that nesting comes from.

My second I had a C Section....also didnt nest. My house was such a mess. LOL

With my first I went through nesting like, when i was like 12wks.

You might not have the phase again, i had the same feeling with my 3rd as you, but at 36 weeks, i just had a whole abundance of energy. [She came at 37wks] :D

I'm sure you've heard "every pregnancy is different," which also includes any pregnancies YOU will have.  Who knows, you may have the "nesting phase" after you've brought your little one home.  Don't worry, kick your feet up and relax, because you already know these will be the last few moments of sanity you will have for a while.

You did go through your "nesting phase". It doesn't necessarily have to be at the end of your pregnancy and it isn't a sign of labor. I had it my entire pregnancy but I still carried my baby to 39 weeks when I was induced.

Speaking as a male observer, I don't know of any woman young or old, rich or poor, who doesn't at least a little carry a "nesting phase" around with her 24/7. From inside of it, obviously you may only see the temporary extremes of it. Regards, Larry.
