Did you go to college because your parents wanted you to go?

I DIDNT go to college because my mum wanted me to. I said no. My dad wasn't bothered because he wanted me to do what I wanted. I haven't suffered from not going to college... I'm in a job that I love....making sure old people are ok. I'm 53 now...still under mum's thumb to a certain extent.

No, I go to college because of the GI Bill.

No. I go to college because I know that a college degree will help me get a better job with a better salary than what a high school diploma only can deliver. I also push myself hard because I don't want to live the way my parents live (there is nothing wrong with how they live, but I want to be able to do things that I enjoy from time to time without thinking so much about lack of money)

No. I had had enough jobs through junior high and high school that I realized it's better to be hammer than a nail.

I'm going to college because my dad says that I won't because he's not going to pay for it.
