Did you guys see the news about the Universal Studios fire?

OMG! I just saw in the news that there was a fire in the Universal Studios backlots! Please answer all of these questions :(

1. Is it true that the King Kong backlot is totally destroyed?

2. Is it true that the Back to the Future part was destroyed?

3. Did anyone get hurt?

Im not sure if king kongs set is destroyed.

the back to the future set , yes it was definatly destroyed and no one got hurt on the set. one fireman did get hospitalized though.

2. The Courthouse burned down completely, but the clock tower is still standing thankfully. It just got burned pretty bad. Looks like they'll be able to repair it though, so that's a very good thing.

3. Only four firefighters were taken in for minor injuries. One was burned by a small explosion inside the video vault, two others suffered minor burns, and a fourth was taken in for minor smoke inhalation. They're all okay though.

I live about a 25 minute drive north of Universal Studios and all day people in my hometown (Valencia) could smell burnt plastic. We couldn't see the smoke from here, but you could definitely smell it.

I love the tram ride and hope they'll have those attractions fixed or re-made and up and running again soon!
