  1. Yeppers! It is very common and it's really nothing to worry about. Everything comes out fine. Having an IV makes the chances extremely low that an infection would occur with the baby, and even if the baby does get affected, it is an easy fix. Good luck with your baby.

  2. I had it.  My doctor said the same thing.  I had a c-section so it really didn't matter for me anyway, but I told them about it and they gave me antibiotics at the hospital.  Apparently that is all that is needed for it not to be a problem.

  3. wow you have a HUGE BUTT!

  4. They make it out to be no big deal but it is.

Antibiotics kill the bad AND the good and can affect the health of your unborn child so it's best to keep your baby nourished as best as you can.Possibly give your baby probiotic add ins to the formula or pumped breast milk.

Most of the time, they are fine.

My friend had her daughter a few weeks ago (mother has group B strep) and had antibiotics during labor..the child does have breathing problems but we don't know if it was already predetermined or if it was due to the illness.

  5. I had a positive test, they gave me antibiotics when I went in for delivery. No problems, just remind the nurse when you get there so they do not forget.

  6. I was positive on both pregnancies and both girls are healthy and beautiful. Reading the stuff online can freak you out, ( I read it all and freaked out myself), but everything ends up nice! No worries...enjoy your pregnancy! Best of luck!

  7. Is that guy serious ^, Your belly looks nothing like a butt....its cute though!! I didn't have strep b but I do have a dif. bacterial infection that is close to it, and they are going to be giving me medicine through my IV, and thats what they will probably do to you, it isn't anything to worry about, and tons of people have it, good luck and congrats!
