Did you have a hard time deciding if you wanted another baby?

I always thought I'd have two kids- before I got pregnant with my first. My daughter is now 6 months old. I keep telling myself that in two years I'll want another. I'm not sure if I want to have another baby right away or not.

Pregnancy takes a toll on your body and mixed with a really bad living situation back when I was pregnant, it was a nightmare. I'm afraid that if I get pregnant again, I'll end up having to go move back there.

What factors help you decide if you're ready for another baby? It seems like no one has one child anymore.

My husband doesn't want to have another child because of all the doctor's appointments (I made him come with me) and all of the stress involved.

well, i dnot think i will. im 14 and i know i want 2 kids. no more no less

Enjoy the baby you have before you decide that you want another.  You have time...and who says it has to be planned.

Hi,

I wouldn't put pressure on yourself to decide now, or on your husband.  You both need to get over this enormous lifestyle change, as well as giving your body and hormones time to recover!

Enjoy your daughter.  Who knows how you will both feel a couple of years down the line, or what your situation will be.  Maybe the same decisions that helped you to decide to have her, will seem relevant again.
