Did you have a somewhat of a serious relationship in HS?

I'm only 13 but i enjoy hearing what other users think. I enjoy being single. I sadly leanr by watching all my young, and kinda stupid friends in there relationships. They all say 'iloveyou' and what end up being together for like 5 months tops. I mean at 14 your not going to last forever, and then you say i love you the first day. I am happy being single it helps me focus and im happy with no guy controling me. I really dont wanna date until like mid high school years or college.

so did you have any kind of serious relationships?

are you still together?

did you guys get intimate like todays teens are(btw in my opinion why cant you wait until your of age: 18) ?

I mean i am waiting until like 18 and older :)

im just curious what you have to say.

it sad watching all my friends that get soo focused on these stupid guys who careless about them. i mean they last like 5 months and just complain about the break up. i mean were 13-14 why get cuaght up in the problems?

cant girls stay single and be happy with themselves?

im fine being with best friends and not wrapped around some losers fingers.

i know my parents were high school sweethearts and they r still happily married

Good for you! I think thats fantastic!!!

I am 28, I have been very happily married to my HS sweetheart for the past 10 years.  Although we had been together since we were 16.  I love him like crazy and still really enjoy his company.  

But I don't think that's the norm. We had to work alot harder on keeping our relationship together and working past a lot of the "growing up" you still have to do when you are young and in a relationship.  

I have always been an advocate of "following your heart", but I do think that 13 is way to young to be dating and making plans for marriage or permanant relationships.

Keep doing what your doing. Be independant and single and happy with yourself!! You have your whole life to figure out someone else. Figure yourself out first.
