  1. There should be no symptoms. You cheeks might swell but they will return to normal in a couple of days. If the dentist knows what he is doing, you should be back to normal in a few days.

I had my four wisdom taken out while on a week's leave from the military. My family dentist operated one day and took the stitches out a couple days later. When I returned to my unit, I just had some small pain but that when away a week later.

  2. No, I had no symptoms after having my wisdom teeth (all four of them at one time) extracted.  I had a reaction to the anesthesia they gave me, but had no other symptoms.

  3. I had all 4 removed about 3 months ago.  I had swelling in my cheeks and bruising especially on my lower jaw, so I had these yellowish spots on the side of my face.  They didn't show up until about 2-3 days after the procedure.

Dry sockets too, which can be very uncomfortable.  I don't know if there is anything 'strange' about what you go though during the healing process.  A friend of mine got an infection about a month after having his removed.  He woke up one morning and his whole right side of his face was swollen and had to get put on more antibiotics.

I think the best piece of advise is to remember is to ALWAYS take your antibiotics and rinse your mouth regularly.
