We are ttc and I am 4 dpo and I started feeling my normal ov cramps before ov and they still haven't stopped. They don't hurt its just a dull feeling towards my back on my right side and a couple of days they were both sides. I'm afraid this could be something bad like an ectopic. What was your experience?

  1. cramps or cramp like feelings are normal when you are pregnant it is your uterus growing

  2. i had a h**l lot of my pain on my left lower side, i went to the doctor and got advised to go to the emergency gynecologist and check it out if it was ectopic preg, but everything is fine also at the same time the sonographer said that they were conducting a new study why preg women feel pain in the ovaries i guess soon we will all know the answer.

try not to sleep on ur sides cuz that is were it hurts the most.

  3. Well i am only just pregnant and i have those pains but on both sides. its like someone is poking me for about 5 seconds and then it goes away. very strange. my blood tests were only 165 hcg so really low.

if you don't get your period then go for an ultra sound but i think its just growing pains. also my doctor said ectopic pregnancy can cause your shoulder to be sore too...

    i hope this helps :)

  4. Yes, yes, yes. We were TTC for nearly 12 months and the month I did conceive I had my normal ovulation pain and then it hung around for about 8-10 days afterwards. It actually fellt like a pulling which became a little more intense in the 2-3 days past ovulation. I was also really worried about ectopic but apparently you don't feel any pain with the ectopic until a few weeks in so it is too early for this.

Anyway, I am now 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant and awaiting the  birth of our first child (a little girl) any day now.

Goodluck and fingers crossed for you.

  5. I felt like I was going to start my period with my first my ovary's ached I would say most likely it is not an ectopic if it continues and you feel concerned still contact your doctor. also you get little cysts during your cycle it could be one of them also but they are nothing to worry about they go away on there own.
