Did you hear about nascar saying quit complaining about the COT to drivers?

they really should stop complaining, NASCAR isn't going to change, and I agree with WinterGlory, I have seen Harvick act like a "18yr old punk" in the past. But, Harvick is a cool guy and he seems to be handling his frustration with the new car well, and not bashing it on t.v.

NASCAR said at the beginning of the year they wanted the drivers to be themselves...so now that the drivers are asked about the car and they(drivers) complain they (NASCAR) are upset...I'm all for safety but if the cars drive like dump trucks what good are they, I want my driver to express himself. Don't blame the drivers for telling is like it is, blame the media for always asking...

I am a huge Kevin Harvick fan, but I think the drivers should complain about whatever they want.

What is weird is that Harvick said that they need to stop complaining about the car, but his own crew chief, Todd Berrier, was quoted just on Saturday afternoon, saying this to Yahoo Sports

"“Even Ray Charles can see there’s something wrong with the car,”

This falls under the old "If you don't want to hear my answer, don't ask" rule.

NASCAR asks for the drivers to give their input. The drivers give it. NASCAR tells them to shut up.

Granted, some drivers are just whining. IE: it's too hot, I'm not comfortable, it's harder to cheat.

Cry about safety, or racing issues. Not your comfort level.

I adore Kevin Harvick, but I think the drivers can complain about whatever they want.  That's why they are asked their opinions.

They should quit complaining, at least in a public forum, take it up with the people who you're having the issues with, the fans can't do anything about it, we just want to watch you race.

And as far as the drivers acting like 18 year old punks, 1)Harvick doesn't really have alot of room to talk, I've seen him act like an 18 year old punk on more than one occassion.

2)Rowdy's gotten alot of criticism for the whole "they suck" comment, he's not the exception to me, he didn't need to say that in front of the whole world.

We all heard.  NASCAR heard.  They told the drivers to quit whining.

It's about time someone stood up and told them to shut up.  Learn to drive the car - Kyle Busch has, Jimmy Johnson has, Kasey Kahne has, Jeff Burton has, Biffle and Edwards have.

Someone in Gibbs (Toyota), Hendrick and RCR (Chevy), Gilette-Evernham (Dodge) and Roush (Ford) have all figured it out.

They should feel free to say what they want! NASCAR has ruined the sport of Stock Car Racin! This weeks race was a joke.  I liked Stewarts post race interview... ask Mike Helton...I don't know what I can and can't say.
