  1. I didnt know what she was doing at first, but that's a liberal for you! No, it wasn't rude of him I mean seriously its kindof out of hand haha. He isn't the most exciting speaker, but I think his character, experience and integrity is much more important.

  8. That woman is a member of the Anti-War group made up of women called CODE PINK.  It was an organized demonstration. Some were removed last night during Palin's speech as well.

  9. Don't worry about it, she and the one last night were plants so they could comment on it during their speech.

    The security is too tight for a real protester to have gotten through.  

  10. In my opinion, she had not right to do that. It's not how you make peace! Going and interrupting someones speech, Obama had is time to speak and now it's John McCain's turn. They're trying to get votes and tell America why we should vote for them.

    BTW - My husband is a USMC vet (with Gulf War Syndrome - my kids have it too) and I knew a boy who was killed in a heroic act in Afganistan, Joe Lancour. He was blown to bits when his group was ambushed -- he emptied all his weapons while they blew his limbs off one by one. My friend has severe PTSD and works for the VA - he still isn't receiving adequate help working for them!  

    If you think for one second this war is doing anyone any good HERE, you're out of your freaking mind. We do need peace. I am totally in support of our military and military action is FINE if there is a threat. This is the war without an end in sight, no planning, just money being wasted by the billions. Has the war gotten you anywhere? Good for the lady screaming for peace - I am totally 100% behind her!

  21. I didn't notice her.  I had wondered why he said that.  It doesn't surprise me.  He threw somebody off of the public grounds of his town hall meetings for the same reason.

  28. Why is it that Dem's think that all republicans are pro-war... when it was their own party (in the last 60 years and better) that has had Dem Presidents declare wars more times than the Republican presidents... or is that conveniently forgot or not taught in liberal public schools?

    And I can say that most, if not all, of us republicans are not pro-war... just like pro-choicer's are not all pro-abortion... :/

    We just know there is a time for talking and when that doesn't work then sometimes force is necessary....

    And the conventions are not a place for public demonstrations...
