Glitter, get a clue.  Read Obama's book.....he admits to many mistakes, including drug use.  It's widely known, and he's addressed it.

It isn't that they have never made mistakes, it's that they don't claim the higher moral ground that the Republicans do.

If we are talking about forgiving mistakes made in our teenage years, perhaps you should mention that to people who continue to criticize Obama for drug use when he was a teenager.  Their attitude seems to be that nothing he has done since then could ever make up for that transgression.

The majority of liberals have founded their views upon the idea that everyone makes mistakes and deserves another chance. The reason liberals are so eager to pounce upon their conservative rivals when they make a mistake which clearly counters their doctrine of ethics, morality, and "family values" is because so often conservatives are unforgiving about these things.

Liberals are pro-choice because they believe people make mistakes, they believe in social programs because the poor deserve a second chance, and they believe in tolerance and equality because everyone, Mexican, black, Asian, or Caucasian deserve to be treated the same way, as if color didn't exist at all.
