  3. yes becuz I live in D.C they are Gentifying those areas and moving the Blacks to P.G Maryland

  4. Washington DC has always been like this.  What's your point?  Yeah, DC is the Nation's Capital, and DC is also the murder capital of the country.  Been this way since the early 80's.

DC is also one of the smallest cities in the country.  We are also not part of a state and DC citizens can't vote outside of Presidential and mayoral elections (taxation without representation), so we've got our own set of laws and regulations that are completely different from those of other states.

That video was taken down in Southeast, which is the poorest section of the city.  And the kids interviewed were obviously all in their teens.  What nobody ever shows is that the DC area also has a very high percentage of upper middle-class educated black people living all over the area.  But as usual, criminal activity is what gets all of the press.

What really gets me is that the video opened with all of the homeless people sprawled on the steps of the government buildings up the street from the White House.  DC has a huge homeless problem, and a large majority of DC's homeless are Vietnam-era veterans - due to the fact that the government doesn't take care of it's soldiers who fight for this country.
