Did you know about Panera's nutrition facts?

So, I work there and I had no idea the food was packed with so much calories. A pananni there has 900 calories! Thats more then any Burger King Sandwhich. It's disgusting, add in the pop and chips and its worse. Even they're regular cafe sandwhiches(ham, turkey) have 700 calories alone.

  2. Not surprised at all. That's why I never ordered their sandwiches. Back in the day me and my sister would share a Cripani Pizza but I know they don't make those anymore unfortunately. No need to go back to that place.

I had half a smoked turkey sammich and a ceasar salad there yesterday (you pick 2 half of each thing)- I checked the nutrition info and it worked perfectly for my diet and was totally satisfying.  Their portions are huge and the 1/2 sammich and salad was perfect.  It's not their job to babysit people and their eating habits, it's their job to make good food.  I personally think that panera offers a great deal of healthy options.  They also have tea (0 calories) and diet pop (0 calories) and you can substitute an apple for those chips.  I wouldn't compare Panera to Burger King just yet.

  7. You can't trust most of the food you eat outside of your home.  Unless you're piling veggies on your plate from a salad bar, you're probably eating too many calories.

  8. hey, that's better than any hamburger I know of, 700 calories isn't much compared to a burger king meal. Infact, 700 calories is probobaly my normal lunch.

    People obsess about calories, but the real enemey isn't fat or calories, it is man-made and processed foods, which is why we only eat organic foods now and still get to eat saussage and eggs in the morning without getting fat.
