  1. It all has to with money,You know they are buying those tires from the wholesaler for a discount.


  2. I did not know that about tires you just bought. I'm not aware of expiration dates but it makes sense. Over time, rubber does get very dry and brittle.  

  3. Yea heard it about it a few weeks ago . Just like them trying to sell food just past sell before date . It's all about the bottom line .

  4. Tires have a shelf life of about 6 years. It doesn't matter if they have been used on a vehicle or they're just sitting in a warehouse; all tires dry-rot as they get older. You should not buy a new tire that is more than 2 years old, and the tires that are currently on your car should be replaced after 5 years weather the tread is worn or not.
