I don't think average eletronic are cheaper, you said ps3, 360 are cheaper than xbox and ps2 lol?tech is coming out faster pace then ever, result we spend more in keeping up the hype (blu-ray etc..) therefore we spend more, unlike before we keep our vhs dvd player for long time.
