cheaper and more environmentally friendly than something the petrochemical industry can churn out too.

Wondered if I could make it purfumed naturally?

Any other good green tips along this line?

  1. When adding a fragrance to a massage oil, keep in mind what effect you want the massage to have. Vanilla makes me relaxed and sleepy and satsuma makes me... excited ;)

  2. you little minx you!!!

  3. wow

  4. Grapeseed? How do I use it? Just crush it into my hands and massage away?

  5. sure, and almond oil is perfect for massage and making scrubs etc. you can sweeten them with wonderful blends of aromatherapy oils.

My fave for relaxing massage is lavender, jasmine and ylang ylang. (ylang ylang is like an aphrodisiac, mmm heaven!)

Any citrus blend for invigorating (bergamot and sandlewood etc)

Try eucalyptus and sandlewood for aching muscles etc

Have fun experimenting on your favourite smells and blending them together but be careful not to overdose on amounts as they can make you feel headachy/nausea/palpatations.  start off easy and dont use more than 10 drops

  6. Well yes, you use grapeseed oil as a base oil and add scented oils to it. My only suggestion about perfuming it naturally is just try loads of different things, crush flower petals, use the peel of fruit, try anything really, grapeseed oil will work as a massage oil with just about anything added to it.
