Did you know schools don't punish bullies because of the NCLB law?

The main reason schools do not punish the bullys and stop it is because of the NCLB federal law. THis law mandates that the schools will get more money if they don't have any, or less, document reports of bullying, disclipline records, etc.

So even though there IS more bullying going on, the school does not want to document any records of it going on because they will be found out and not get any money.

This is why there is fighting, bullying, killing in schools. Schools and the Gov't are destroying and killing our kids all in the name of money. MOST people in USA do not know this.

Even though this is a law they must follow, they ALSO have to follow ANOTHER law that is contradictory to that NCLB law. It is called 'anti bully' policy that schools HAVE to stop bullying. Ask to get a copy of that policy from the superintendent office or your state dept of education.

  1. i work in a preschool and i know that we dont tolerate bullying, and we take action. that is also teaching kid for the future tht bullying is not acceptable. as for my high school, there really isnt much bullying going on and if there was that student would get suspended, so isnt that doing something? this is all you opinion, i doubt you went to schools and interviewed them. dont judge people becuase of what you hear on the tv, radio, internet ect cuz its most likely not true!

  2. Your kid is a p***y.  Karate lessons are cheap.  The fact that you're whining online for your kid's benefit show that you are being over protective and probably part of the reason your child is weak and unable to defend himself.

  3. whats your question??

  4. get a grip.  John F Kennedy is not alive in a Dallas Hospital, there are no UFO's and Big Foot is a Myth.  Stop worrying about make believe issues.

  5. What is your question?  What is the NCLB citation to your assertion?   NCLB has mandatory and optional reporting requirements.  Money is tied to mandatory reporting elements.  Schools have the option of reporting the incidence of school violence, drug abuse,

alcohol abuse, student suspensions, and student expul-

    sions.  20 USC 6311(h)(1)(D)(iv).

Regardless, the U.S. Constitution leaves education to the states.  NCLB is a spending clause statute.  States are not required to adhere to a spending clause statute unless they wish to accept federal funding, (Article 1, section 8, clause 1 of the United States Constitution; Steward Machine Co. v. Davis, 301 US 548, (1937)).  Many, many state laws result from spending clause statutes.  If you don't like NCLB, petition your state to withdraw from acceptance of funding.

Or, perhaps there is some element of NCLB with which I am unfamiliar?  If so, I would appreciate the opportunity to learn all about it .

  6. Were you bullied or something?

  7. If what you say is true, then the government is enabling bullies.
