  1. WWII started because Poland was invaded. When WWII was over, Poland was still occupied by an invading army (the Soviets) who forced Poland to become a puppet state of Moscow.

    Not only that, the rest of eastern Europe was now under the military authority of the USSR and the Allied governments accepted this despite having just fought for six years to prevent the Germans doing the same.
