My work friends were talking about it the other day.  One of them is loaning the dvd to me.  They said they both cried at the end.  It must be a real chick flick.

I heard a good joke the other day:

My girlfriend and I were watching the notebook.  At the end, she startst to cry then looks up at me.  With those big tear-filled eyes she says to me: "Why can't I find a guy who understands my emotions.  Who's unafraid to express himself and loves me for me."  "It's simple," I reply.  "Those types of guys already have boyfriends, why would they want to be yours."

Read the book by accident (I was bored), and it was great. The movie sucked though. I generally stay away from those kinds of movies and books because they're utter rubbish designed to fool women into thinking men can be that romantic or sensitive.

There are some wonderful men out there. Loving, supportive, mature, committed, trustworthy, etc etc But I still wouldn't say any of them live up to what men are portrayed as in 'chick flicks'. It's time to get with reality folks. Really.
