Did you know that Chris Judd has signed on?

He has signed on for 6 years, not the 5 everyone knows about.

And he wants Carlton to win a grandfinal with him.

If that is true, then Carlton are bigger fools than I had given them credit for.

Unless his contract specifies he goes into coaching or something, this silly deal will come back to haunt the club. Six years is waaaaaay too long. But then again, Carlton have never been a club for making sensible decisions.

He could scrape a grand final in the last year or two that he will be playing with carlton - carlton wont win a flag for a while.

i duno how he will keep playing on with his horrid groin injury last year (and the little niggles he keeps having this year) but he can do it coz hes chris judd.

He wants carlton to win a grand final with him...the only premiership medallion he is going to get is with the club he played best win and had the most success at - the west coast eagles.

Well I think we all knew he would stay at Carlton for the rest of his career. Anyway, by that time he probably won't be able to play, he already has a lot of trouble with injuries and the like.

It is going to be near impossible to win what judd has won at another club, eagles are ALWAYS going to mean more to him and the mates which he made, won a flag with and got the 2 grand finals with.

Carltons competition will be the eagles in the next few years.. and quite simply our list is far better then yours! He might want to win a flag with the blues, but that word is want, no will!

Juddy will win a premiership at Carlton.  It is not what he just does alone but the up and coming team around him.  Carlton in a few years are going to be a super team with the picks they have got.  It kill me to say this being a Collingwood supporter.  They have got 18 players under pick 20.  I wish we had that.  

Murphy, Gibbs, Kruezer, Walker, Fevola, Grigg and Hampson will be the ones to win the premiership and juddy will be along for the ride

**I don't think it's the smartest move to sign ANY player for five or six years, regardless of how good they are.  The only reason I say this is because injuries play such a big role in footy and Judd has already had a fair few injuries.
