  11. Yes, I know. Most of the speech was written even before they knew who the VP would be.Except for the personal part about her, she was just reading what was written, not what she knew about. It was not like she thought of those things herself, and they think she is so smart for having delivered a speech that was written for any person McCain decided to make VP.

  13. Actually, it was written by Matthew Scully.  He stopped working for Bush in August 2004.

    (He's also vegan.)

    Obama's speech was written by Jon Favreau (not the actor).

    Presidential/VP hopefuls haven't written there own speeches in over 100 years...no news in that.
