They produce more of it than anything. It's why we use 'em for meat! If not... our world would be like WALL-E's. Polluted. that's why they stink. they p**p, and eat the p**p, roll on it! by the way, i just want a yes or no.

  1. That is not true. The living organism that produces the most methane is the termite. However, it is true that cows make a sh*t load of methane (pun intended). I think we should erect (ha! erect) large hoods over livestock shelters to collect the methane from the waste and farts. Then we could burn the methane in gas turbines to make electricity and convert the methane to less harmful CO2.

  2. Yes

  3. Yes that's true.

By the way, you posted 1/2 truth, 1/2 BS so too bad if you only wanted a yes or no.

I grew up on a farm and NEVER saw a cow eat or roll in their p**p.

Dogs, yes, and people let them l**k THEIR FACES!!!!

The sad part about your question is the fact that you probably had steak for dinner last night.

There's an old saying something like, don't c**p where you eat!

In other words, leave the cows alone.

    It's the stupid humans~

Part of the pollution that they cause is because too many animals are in too small of a location.  There is very little sustainable farming going on.  It used to be that every family had a cow or two, raised their own food.  People are too lazy to do that now.  We'd rather pollute the planet MORE by TRUCKING our food across the country.

  4. Um, where exactly do you think all of these cows would come from if we didn't eat them?  Humans raise livestock for eating.  There aren't wild herds of cattle roaming around everywhere.  If we didn't eat them, humans wouldn't raise them.  You've got it exactly backwards.  If we didn't eat beef, there would be fewer cows around.

Also, the only way methane pollutes is that it contributes to global warming.  While it's true that methane is smelly if you're exposed to it, it doesn't make the air dirty.

You are correct however that cows are a big source of methane.

  5. I DID know that!  Thanks for asking.

  6. OI. Leave the cows alone. Mooooove on and pick on something else.

Like dogs. They roll around in p**p and eat it. I have seen them do both. I have never seen a cow doing that. Farting, yes. I remember several years ago crying with laughter. Me, four other stock men and three ministry vets. One of our bulls just kept going, and going, going up and down in pitch. FUNNY AS h**l!!!!

  7. YES!  I blame all the folks around the world for causing global warming through ranching & dairy farming.  I also blame C.W. McCall's "convoy" song for creating Radio Shack and the whole CB craze.  You know, breaker 1-9, 10-4, bears in the air, swindle sheets, and all that stuff.

  8. i heard termites contribute more than any other thing. second comes vegetarians.

  9. The emissions from cows etc is caused by the animal belching; not what comes out the other end.

  10. Yes.

I learned it from a video game to.

  11. maybe..but i heard that India use their gasses to produce electricity..smart eh?! India got a lot of cows

  12. Yes! Glad they do because that's what my cars run on (natural gas/methane).  It's very cheap to fill up and it's good for the environment, too. I haven't had to buy gasoline in a long time.

  13. yes. im the one that told you! seriously!

  14. Yes, I've heard of people being vegeitarian because of it.
