......from the IRS? They do not meet the criteria. Doesn't that sound like the cruelest thing you have ever heard. I have a sister-in-law that scrapes to get by every month on less than $600 and a good friend that is a single mother who is also disabled and tries to get by on that amount + what she gets for her dependent 14y/o son. Yet my 85 y/o father that gets regular social security will receive his $300. This government makes me sick!!!! What do you think about it????

  1. Actually, people who are receiving Social Security Disability will receive a stimulus check if they file.  It is those folks who are receiving Social Security Supplemental (also referred to as SSI) that won't receive a stimulus payment.  Go to irs.gov and you will find more information about it.

  2. Well they can't give back what was never paid to start with.  From what others are saying, it sounds like they will get some anyway.  Probably the same amount I will get and I paid thousands in federal income taxes.  Oh well.

  3. They are going to get it, but they need to file this year. Must send in order to get it. I'm on SSI also and I've sent mine in this year. I.R.S.Gov look it up.
