  1. Yes I did know there are farms in those areas, and many years ago much of Melbourne's fruit and vegetables came from market gardens in those areas.

No, they are not 'like' 2 mins from Melbourne - more like 30 to 45 mins!

  2. No.

  3. if you can give me a name of any farm that's 2 mins away from melb or even 30 mins away i'd be amazed. 40mins would be one of the closest and 1-4hrs would be the average i think you should do some more research

  4. As others said, it's more like 40 minutes.

The Collingwood Childrens Farm still exists, but would you classify that as a farm?

  5. There are still farms along Kingston Rd and along Lower Dandenong Rd which are a lot closer than all those other places.  Melbourne is full of surprises

  6. Distances from Melbourne, with average driving times:

bulla is 29.3 km – about 31 mins

greenvale is 25.6 km – about 31 mins

werribee is 34.8 km – about 34 mins

oaklands junction is 28.7 km – about 30 mins

A bit more than 2 minutes.

  7. yeh.

but those places arent like 2 mins.

    more like 45 mins

  8. The only 'farm' remotely close to Melbourne CBD is Collingwood Childrens Farm.. if that even still exists. But yeah... those places you listed are at least 30-45 minutes from Melbourne... and Bulla is much much more. 2 minutes my ***... maybe 2 minutes scrolling across Google Earth.
