I did not know that.

I do know the Patriots have the distinction of being the only team in NFL history to finish a season 18 and 1 and yet did not win the Super Bowl..........

Pat R ,,, The clock you see on the TV graphics is not official.  The TV production truck plugs in a repeater to the official game clock system that allows them to show a clock that is slaved to the main system.  All that video shows is that the communication gear between the game clock and the graphics software for the network malfunctioned.  

The game clock on the stadium was fine and the network eventually fixed the glitch.

Also, an official on the field keeps the "official" time in the last two minutes of each half on his wristwatch.  All seven officials also check the status of the stadium clock between each play.  The stadium clock operated perfectly during that time.

Besides, don't you think that the NE coaching staff wouldn't have gone ballistic if the clock really malfunctioned in the Giant's favor?  Trust me, they would have.

I agree that the Patriots were the better team; but the better team doesn't always win. The Giants were simply on a roll.

But I think New England would have won if Tom Brady wasn't playing on a bad ankle. Just my opinion.

EDIT: The Giants won fair and square; I never said they didn't. All I'm saying is you can't deny the Pats are good-and I'm a Cowboys fan. The Giants got it done when it counted. I'm a Dallas fan, not blind.

Review this my friend!!! The fact of the matter !!! The end game was decided before the playoffs started! Ya see, the hungrier team is the team thats gonna get it done. Nobody took the Giants for real and looked past them. Ask Mr ( hurray for me) Romo with the Cowboys. The Packers never thought about losing to the Giants. The were alredy planning for the meet with the Patriots. The Patriots were giving the Giants the biggest point spread in Super Bowl history. Yes they too decided that it was a walk in the park. Brady's leg injury was nothing more than an excuse why they lost. This was fabricated before the game just in case they lost the game. This way it looks like the Patriots should have won. Ya see!! Just a big ploy. The Giants won and they were hungrier!

I don't care what review anyone gave to establish your belief that they won.  My eyes told me when I watched the SB that the Giants won.  My eyes don't lie to me.  Fact is fact.  Why should philosphy be brought into a factual known?
