  1. well i dont belive that to be a good wife u have to cook and clean. i learning how to be a good partner from watching my parents and seeing how you have to split the work equally. and when im happily married i  probably will thank my parents for being such good role models

  2. yes i have thanked my mom she taught me alot BUT i also learned what not to be as a wife from her my father should have been nicer, she took alot of c**p from him...... thanks mom

  3. Umm I think it's just the individual  and its sometimes  on how you were raised , I wasn't raised by my mom I never met her , but guys that I've dated always said that I had great wifely habits . But she does play a great part , I feel like dating a person with both parents are so important b/c they can learn from them.

    Do's and not to do's.

So, learn all that you can from MOM!

  4. So delighted she is alive for you. Mine has passed and yes she did and yes very much so .

She was the best mother God could have sent me.

It is important to thank people now, it can't be done when they aren't alive.

  5. Can't say that I did.

  6. My mother taught me so much and I am a really great cook because of it and now that she has passed my family can still have mom's food and be reminded of her.

  7. In some ways:  Yes.  A lot though came from my maternal grandmother, genetically, not just through nurturing and being raised.

I think I will make an individual an excellent spouse someday, as a result.
