Why or why not?

I have friends who said that they loved it and some who said that they hated it, or at least they said they didn't like it as much as the others.

What did you think of the book?

Personally I liked it, the thing that i didn't like though was Jacob in this book. I liked him up until the point where he imprinted on Renesme. I don't know i think the book moved a little too fast at the last half. I don't think Stephanie should have told the story from Jacob's pov either, it just made me curious as to what Bella was going through during that time, and some of the other characters pov. Well i guess there were parts that i loved and parts i hated. I think if Stephanie had spent some more time on the book then it would have been better. I think one of the things that i didn't particularly didn't like is when Bella actually turned into a vampire. Thats what made the other books so exciting, her being human and Edward being a vampire. I was really impressed by Renesme's and Bella's powers though i thought they were kinda cool.

So give me some of your opinions on the book.

  1. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The s*x part cut out the fact that some of the younger population who liked her couldn't read it anymore. Also Bella became a lot more... not Bella? Like Jacob had predicted.

I thought that the ending was amazing, but if they were going to make Jasper and Alice disappear like that then there should've been another part added to the book. I was very impressed by Bella and Renesme's powers as well. But slightly disappointed at the fact that Jacob imprinted on Renesme. He's going to die! God. She's going to live forever like her parents, and he's going to fricken die. Just great! Poor Jacob! He always gets the c**p end of things.

It was good. Not as good as the other ones. But still good.

  2. Luved it! Were a few flaws thought. Wish there was a little more suspense like the other books.

  3. I am one of those that loved it.  Her "vampires" are quite different than most so that does make it very interesting.  I think Jacob got what he needed to make him focus less on himself and more on others.  First being an alpha and with his attachment to Nessie that is opening up a whole other can of worms.  He is going to have to learn to live with everyone that she cares for and be a permanent companion to someone whom he cares deeply and truly for.  He now has a "soft" spot.  If Bella had not become a vampire then the Volturi would have killed her and then Edward would have destroyed himself.  Not a good ending for me with that scenario.  Bella and Edward are great as a couple but just imagine the possibilities with some of the other characters now.  Like Jacob getting his ears and tail pulled.  He already gets bitten a lot. Nessie is going to be awesome.

  4. i loved it because there was a lot of excitment and im glad things worked out for jacob

  5. We really do need our own Twilight section.

Is there any rational reason someone blew through and gave every single answer a thumbs-down? Very mature, to borrow one of Bella's comments.

  6. The book was idiotic. Actually the whole series was. SM made Bella loose all the morals and the last bit of hope Bella had. Bella became what she did not want to be: pregnant, married, and lost connection with her family and friends. The first book Meyer set up a character that had potential; Bella HAD morals. Like what is SM trying to teach young kids!? To loose your morals, friends, education and lust for an obsessive and abusive man and let him tell you what to do and not do! Forget your friends for a man! It is just completely insane. And Jacob falling for Nessie?! SM probably just didn't know what to do with Jake so she made him into a "Quil" and fall for a baby. Pathetic. Honestly Meyer doesn't deserve the fame she's gotten. And Bella's power is kind of a complete rip off of Lily Potter. Meyer could have made the series better, but she did not know where she was going from the start. Which was her downfall. She didn't plan anything and her writing lacks creativity. And there is no great deep relationship between Bella and Edward either. If Bella didn't smell good then Edward would have not even noticed her. The books lack creativity...In short it sucks!

This is just how i feel about this...i wish girls will stop reading this nonsense. Btw, I'm 15 and a girl myself, i just see through this c**p.

  7. I believe it was a great book, but not as good as the first book.  I think there were too many weird things going on in Breaking Dawn, but it was still a good read.

And I have a question about Jacob: Is he going to live forever too?

Well... I like it and dislike some parts of the book, but I mostly like it.

  8. I was pretty happy with the book, actually. I don't think there needed to be any more action. I loved the ending, and I also enjoyed all the other vampires who came to the Cullens' aid. I thought they were all pretty interesting, especially Zafrina.

My favorite part had to be the wedding. It was so sweet! It sounded beautiful and perfectly romantic.

The thing that did annoy me, however, was that once Bella was pregnant, it was as though she really didn't care as much about Edward. I'm an Edward fan, and maybe I'm the only one who thinks that. It just seemed like Bella's love for Edward weaked a bit, while his love for her remained as strong as ever.

I kind of feel like there wasn't as much magic between Bella & Edward as there was in Twilight and Eclipse. Obviously, I mean this for after the honeymoon. I'm currently rereading Twilight, and I found that they show their love for each other in ways other than kissing & s*x. They actually tell each other how much they love each other. My favorite line from Edward was from this book, "If I could dream at all, it would be about you. And I'm not ashamed of it." I just felt like there wasn't as much of that in Breaking Dawn. There just wasn't that same spark.

Alright, I'm done rambling. Breaking Dawn was a great book overall, but it had its flaws. But hey, what book doesnt?

  9. I LOVE THE BOOKS!!! I was soo surprised when Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. I think the book was absolutely perfect because it tied the whole ending together. I'm actually glad that Stephenie told it in a different POV then Bella's I was so curious about what Jacob's life was like and how he really felt about Edward and Bella. But I really wanted to know what was up with Bella at that time. I think Stephenie did a great amount of time on the book. Bella turning into a vampire is what all the twilight readers were hoping for. It was interesting with Bella being human but it is cool reading about her trying to control her powers and what her power actually is. Renesmee, wow, I love her. my best friend is jealous of bella. She claims that she is bella, she is married to edward and that she has renesmee in her stomach. Don't tell her otherwise, trust me. :) Though I was surprised and disappointed with the whole imprinting on Renesmee thing I can imagine Renesmee growing up (sorta) and loving Jacob kinda like how bella loves edward (but not as much)

I loved the books! Breaking dawn was awesome!
