me, yeah except the next host's play!

Ok..but not as much as the opening.  I think primarily because singers (chinese) were singing in their languang.  Wish the songs had an english version or they sang it in chinese and then put in lines in english.  It was hard to appreciate what the dancers where doing without even understanding what they were singing.  I pressume the dances were interpretations of the song or has something to do with the songs. It was hard to be in "that" mood when you don't understand what they were trying to say...especially if they were saying goodbye, thank you or saying some joyous moment (about the olympics, etc.O

Yes, u r right that the next host's performance was poor. One would ask within 'Who's  the choreographer'? Madonna or Kevin Fedreline!

If the London gig was an example of what we're going to get then there is a great white blobby elephant on the way.     It was rubbish and they should have let the double decker bus keep going and leave the stadium  faster than it arrived.    Ruined a great closing ceremony.    Beckham ??????; what was that all about.     Give us a break.

I liked it, but it wasn't as epic as the opening. It was more like a party, a new feeling.

I thought it was great, although I think they should have ended on the "Wo Ai Beijing" song because itd ragged on a little too long with the opera and traditional chinese singing.

The dance was great and the transfer of hosts between Beijing and London was awesome. I loved the way they did it.

yeh but too much singing at the end...opening much better and i was disappointed with the next hosts performance..no relevance to Olympics.
