Did you lknow that it costs 2 cents to make 1 cent?

Pretty Crazy how it now costs us 2 cents for every penny minted just to mint the coin. Depression, is what comes next I believe.

I don't think we should have pennies at all, its a waste.

I visited Australia and they don't have pennies, everything is just to the 5cent or usually just to the dollar, not like in the U.S. where everything is to the .99 and then with the sales tax its some crazy number. Australia knows what's up.

YEAH I WAS WATCHING AN EDUCATIONAL SERIES WHEN I SAW THAT. THAT IS DUMB. IT TAKES 2 CENTS TO MAKE A PENNY AND THE WORTH OF A DOLLAR IS GOING DOWN. IT STINKS. I ALREADY LIVE IN THE COUNTY WITH THE HIGHEST SALES TAX IN THE U.S.

i know... i heard some rumors about the government stopping the making of pennies because of it. i don't know if they will or not, but i'm starting to collect pennies (they might be worth a lot when they stop making them)  :]
