I did but not at an NHL game.  I was setup on a semi-blind date with the woman who is now my wife. I screwed up and scheduled our first date for the same night I was scheduled for a beer league game.  I had spoken to her on the phone a couple of times and we had chatted online but we had yet to meet in person.

I decided to skip the game for the date. About an hour before the game I get a phone call from the guy who runs the team pleading with me to come to the game because the team was so short and he suggests I invite her to the game.  I call her and bounce the idea off of her, she's a little hesitant but agreed to meet up at the game.  I also didn't have time to pick her up and get back to the game in time so she now has to drive down herself.  She walks into the rink about halfway through the game, is making her way up the empty bleachers and one of my teammates calls down the bench "Check her out, she must be with the other team."  I had some difficulty focusing on the game from that point on.  After the game I met her in the lobby and formally introduced myself.  She was so shy she wouldn't look me in the eye and I mistook that to mean she either found me repulsive or I had made a huge mistake in canceling our original plans.  We then went on our first date which consisted of a night of food and drink at the local Bennigan's.  A few years later we were married.

No I thought I did but he turned out to be a scared a**. He could not handle a real woman. So I found a real man. Any man that gives up a real woman is a jerk. period. He lost out big time. My Hubby is now having the time of his life because of it

No, I met him at a softball game.  I was playing against his team.
