While Obama blamed the Pentagon in reality He now defends his decision not to go because the Messiuh said it would be viewed as political. Obama Blames Heroes when it reflects badly on him. If the Pentagon is at fault Why is Obama Defending a decision that is not his to make? Keep in mind this man takes credit away from the Senate Banking Committee where he does not have a seat on and applies it to himself.

He screwed up.. big time.. and he is the one who is going to have to face the music.  he is going to have to admit that  having his face plastered across the  news media was more important than him than visiting our brave troops.. Nice going Obama!!

The whole problem with your question is assuming that Obama has substance and character and or anything to really add to this country.

Obama contrary to his claims of not being a typical politician is in fact a politician. He did not want to see the troops because he does not believe in "their" mission and sees people who volunteer for the military as either brain washed or clinging to their guns and bibles. If the war he suposedly did not vote for (he was a state senator at the time) was started by a Democratic administration I think he would tune would be different.

The man is a joke and people who defend him are also.
