I have 3 reel tapes full of his stuff. Love 'Poisoning Pigeons in the Park' and 'A Little Bit Late'. Haven't listened to them in ages!

ADDED: I found the tapes (18 hrs. worth of recorded shows) and, 1st chance, the tape player will be connected to my stereo so I can re-live the memories. Looking forward to the laughs.

Oh HE!! ya. Dr.Demento was on every Sat nite. One of my Faves from there was Ahab the Arab, By Ray Stevens, then there was One I'm not sure WHO it was but SOUNDED like The ?Statler? Brothers, (not sure but I KNOW it was ONE of the Bros) It was an ocean themed song, The only line I can remember is I Lobster, and never flounder. Then there was Fish heads, Davey's got the cutest little dinghy in the Navy

I remember "I'm Henry the 8th I am I am, Henry the Eighth I am" and

"They're coming to take me away, ha ha, ...to the funny farm where life is wonderful all the time."

Actually it was my older brother that had the radio tuned to Dr Demento and I just listened through the paper thin wall!  

I also remember, "Shaving cream."  A baby fell out of the window, you'd think that her head would be split, etc., LOL
