  1. Hahaha, no. In fact, I should just be learning how to drive  from my mom today and I've been in Driver's Ed for weeks already. I'm such a procrastinator... I don't recommend it...

  2. Hello. I'm a Driving Instructor in Canada. Your first lesson with your Instructor may cause you to be nervous, but a good Instructor will make you feel comfortable.

Instructors begin the same way with every student, so that all proper information is given to everyone. Make sense?

You might think that your Instructor expects you to know how to drive already, but he/she will actually expect you to have an open mind and enjoy the learning process. Instructors expect people to make errors because you are learning something new, something which you don't have much experience doing.

    If you have questions, ask..........

Your first lesson will probably consist of ....

Learning about what's under the hood, the controls, tires, walkaround inspection, then adjusting your seat, mirrors, steering wheel, and then pulling away from and over to the curb, making right turns and left turns in residential areas and won't push you beyond your abilities.

As you continue your lessons, you will review things from your last lesson and begin to move into heavier traffic and learn more complicated driving techniques.

Hopefully you will learn some great habits and skills which you will continue to develop, gaining confidence as you learn!

Have fun and remember you will be using this knowledge throughout the rest of your life! It's a "life skill", so pay attention and embrace the knowledge your Instructor is about to share with you.

    Now, do I sound mean?

If an Instructor raises his/her voice, it might be due to a potentially dangerous situation about to occur. It's their job to keep you safe too!

  3. Yes on a farm buy never on a road....

  4. in drivers ed they teach you, they dont mind if you have driven before. they just want to make sure you know defensive driving and how to drive safely on the road.

if you are talking about your test. you need your hours. you never know what the DMV person may make you do.
