before your team was in the AFL did u support the other team in ur state

(such as u go for power now but u supported crows at first)

I am a Power supporter, but i guess i was a Crows person before that. But i wasn't really into footy before around 98. I'm SA all the way! If Power weren't around i woulda been Crows

I grew up in South Australia before Crows and Power joined the AFL. I lived in Port Augusta-lived on Carlton Parade-went to Carlton primary school and am still a proud Blue.

The Bulldogs were in it years before I was born.

I s'pose it would have been strange if I lived in WA or SA, both big Aussie Rules states, before they got their AFL teams. I probably would have followed the WAFL or the SANFL.

no always been an eagles supporter, never changed to freo when they came in and probably the same as you with crows and port. i have never really thought about doing it and never will.

I played in Sydney but was always a Cats fan.  I worked my butt off to support getting a team in Sydney and now I hate them.

In the Sydney comp I was a North Shore fan.

You're question as asked could only apply in WA or SA but I think I get where you're aiming.
