i disagree. The players are going to be (rightly) paid enormous amounts of money and have you watched it? Its pretty exciting. We'll still have our summers, dont worry.

No I didn't realise it. Because it's like asking "Did you realise the sun would make the moon wet?" Not quite right, is it?

Check the meaning of irrelevant in the dictionary, and then try rephasing your question to something like "Do you realise that IPL will ruin (destroy, damage,downgrade,etc.) cricket?

And then I'll say something like " No. It'll make the pure form of test cricket even more loved by the pure of heart like you and I, just as ODI did."

Give it time, it might disappear.  It really is just a superficial, frivolous, synthetic derivative of real cricket.

BTW I don't like ODI's either.
