There were many govt. (some former) officials etc.were there who had seen ufos and they were discussing them. Of course...a skeptic was on tv saying they only saw lights. They brought up that one person had touched a ufo. At least they are "openly" discussing these sightings. What did you think about it.?

  1. Didn't this happen once before, a long time ago in France?

I think the official french explanation is that some things in the sky cannot be explained.  I will be shocked if the government says, "Yes, we accept that there are aliens, and they are here," but that would be pretty friggin awesome.

  2. Many people see things in the sky they do not understand. This does not prove that aliens are visiting the earth, it just shows that most people are not fully familiar with all the different kinds of phenomena that can occur in the sky (and also there may be some phenomena that science does not yet have an explanation for). It's interesting to note that professional and amateur astronomers almost *never* see UFOs -- and these are the people who spend an awful lot of time observing the skies AND are familiar with the various sky phenomena.

  3. What does it matter what I think?  I wasn't part of the government panel.

  4. I saw the A.C. 360 show, I wish they would have gone into more

depth on the subject, they had some of the same men on Larry King the other night and also the skeptic who kind of laughed at the panel, saying they saw lights and nothing else, there have been too many sightings for me to believe that these people are all kooks, in fact back in the 1950's there was this disc or orb that went over the White House and many people saw it. I do believe there is something there, and I am happy that people are talking about the subject.

If you go to Larry King, you can click on the show that he aired last week.

  5. I didn't see it but if you are interested you should look up these guys on YouTube: Alex Collier and Micheal Tsarion.  They have some interesting info on these subjects (out there stuff)

  6. I hope this accomplishes something amazing, whether or not it will is up for grabs.

However I am of the mind that these things do indeed occur and I'd love to see more information that supports that, or at least credibly denies it.

  7. This happens every now and then.  People who think they have seen UFOs get together to tell each other they're not crazy.  This meeting was not a government meeting though, it was just random people who got together.

People who talk about UFOs run the whole spectrum of sane to wacko.  I listened to an interview with Jimmy Carter where he said he saw something in the sky, but he seemed perfectly reasonable about it.  He said he has never thought that object to be extraterrestrial in nature.  So there are normal people who have seen things they don't understand.  Then there are people who are completely unglued and think aliens are among us.  I think the whole point of this meeting was to try to disassociate the sane people from the wackos.

The whole thing is worth looking into.

  8. The more discussion and investigation the better.  Almost all of us have seen and heard things for which we are not sure of the cause.  It doesn't follow that, because we're not sure of the cause, they're caused by aliens.

  9. When we finally have a museum with these crafts and a few alien bodies; I will finally be impressed. Otherwise, a few alleged witnesses describing what they had seen doesn't really prove much and is basically boring and uneventful anyway. The various videos, although interesting, are usually hard to see and are blurred. An up close video and a tour of it's interior would be even more interesting. (I'm not joking)
