What did you think of the Jaguar Trophy?

Beautiful race horse, made the job look easy, at least Robby left something in the tank for the big one in March.  The United States has had some great winners in Dubi, but it also appears to take at lot out of them.  Time will tell how Curlin will respond after being there, with the long trip.

robby albarado had to pull him back, he was loping at the line!

the other horses had to full out sprint to keep up, curlin's that good.

Curlin certainly made easy work of that field... it was a lot like War Pass running that allowance though... both races were pretty much workouts.  Curlin crossed the line at a high canter... he broke easily and was much closer to the pace than he normally is.  It was a good prep, but it wasn't an amazing achievement in itself.  It was just good experience to run a nice easy race at night under the lights in a foreign land.  The World Cup will be much harder than his race today.  I'm excited to see him match up against Spring at Last and Asiatic Boy... it will be quite a good race!
