Did you see Joey Logano on NASCAR Now yesterday?

He was talking about how Mark Martin helped him to get noticed by other teams and was instrumental in the growth of his racing career. Then he said something about his age "Isn't he like...50 or something?" I thought that was funny and wondered what sort of c**p Mark is going to give him the next time they talk. Mark will turn 50 in January, but I'm sure he doesn't want people to start saying he's that old already. Do you think Mark will spin him out for that? LOL Crazy old man!

Mark is a class act. He will just laugh it off.

If he looks older than he is, he did it to himself.

Years of alcohol abuse will do that. Mark realizes that, and accepts it.

Ya that was very funny. I think he can expect a hard bump at the very least. I was very impressed with how Joey handled the interview, especially when Marty ask him how he was going to handle all the pressure and live up to all the hype, and he said I'm not the one creating the hype. I thought that was cool. But ya, Mark will get him back one way or another.

Yes, it was pretty cool,  I cracked up when he talked about Marks age, I bet that will cause a little friendly little love tap as he passes Logano on a straightaway... Hey since you are in China don't forget to go climb that great wall, I did it a couple yrs ago,make sure you wear your cool hat, after you climb the wall you'll feel even younger, and more inspirational (yeah thats what they told me) LOL.

I agree w/ some above, He looks way older than 50.. but he still has the drive to get in and power a race car around for 36 races next season I guess... My sources say something could happen between the 2 in the near future, as both will be running up front consistenly next year.

I saw that. Well, when you're 18 years old some one who's 30 is old, someone who's 50 is prehistoric. Mark still has the option to give Joey a hard time about having the most ridiculous nickname in NASCAR history though, lol.."sliced bread" what the (bleep)???

Can't picture Mark spinning the kid, he's a gentleman driver, but then ya never know, dementia might be setting in now that he pre-dates dirt!

I didn't see that.  I am hooked on the Olympics right now.  But it doesn't suprise me a bit.  Mark Martin is such a class act and I have heard many rookies talk about how much he helps them all.

Ya gotta admit Mark does look a bit beyond his years.  I would love to have see his face when Joey basically called him an old man...LOL!!  Mark just may give Joey a little 'love' tap on the track for his remark, all in good fun of course.

I saw that.  I'm sure Mark will make Joey eat those words!  He did try to soften that a little by commenting on his conditioning.  I can't wait to see Mark's next interview.
