  1. Since last night, I can't stand the woman.

Yes she delivered a good speech, she is used to perform she was a sport reporter after all.

She completely ignored the environment and the long term gas crisis. Ya! sure you guys will dig petrol out of Alaska, sounds like a nice dream, I would like to see the logistic behind this, and the damages to the environment. No long term thinking at all.....did you hear about the health care dilemna! nope

  2. Yes, I watched the whole speach and it excited me even more!  She proved that she is not a politician out to "win" a race to the White House but she is an American out to help her fello Americans. She is here to to a job and not "win" a race.  She will stand up for what is right, not for things that will put money in her pockets.

  3. I am against Obama but was not especially for McCain.  I was considering voting for a third party candidate.

The announcement of Palin as a candidate gave me a reason to consider McCain further but I wanted to see how she would come across in her speeches.  I thought she gave a great speech that inspired the people at the convention.  I don't think that she is going to have any trouble in the debate with Biden.

I am now leaning toward McCain but will wait for further evidence that he will be the "Maverick" he has been in the past.

  4. Beauty and the Beast team. Sounds good to me. Beats having two dudes on the same ticket. loll

  5. It only reinforced my prior thoughts about the fabulous Palin!

My favorites from Palin's last night speech in describing Obama:

    * "....But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state senate....".

    * "...I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a "community organizer," except that you have actual responsibilities..."

    Peace

  6. Since it was her first introduction to the American people, I would have expected her not to pepper a bunch of half truths and lies into her speach.  "no thank you to the bridge to nowhere"  ....please...she was all for it, until the idea got ridiculed by republicans....her lies were even on the front page of yahoo this morning...she did add some life into the republican party, though....but when it comes to the issues, she is far right of me...

  7. Until last night I had no idea what she would be bringing.  It looks like she's BRINGING IT.  Looking forward to the debates and this is the first time ever.  This is the first election I've had any interest in.  I'm not voting AGAINST anyone - I'm voting FOR MCCAIN/PALIN!  I no longer have any doubts as to whether Palin is capable of being a vice president or president if that unlikely scenario should arise.  McCain is a guy who will stand up for Americans and American ideals no matter what and he is quite ready, able and deserving to be President.

  8. I liked her and will put my vote for Sarah.

  9. I was more than pleased with the convention last night.  McCain was not the original one that I had voted for in the primaries, however, I did stay with him after that fact, and will continue to be a McCain/Palin supporter.

We here, are very pleased with his choice in Sarah Palin.

  10. she is on Big Brother isn't she? I missed Big Brother last night, what happened? that is what you are talking about right?

  11. Yes, it confirmed my vote for Obama/Biden hands down.

  12. As an Independent voter I say she will do a great job.

  13. Yes,I saw Sarah Palin last night and didn't change my voting intentions cause I am not from USA but if i were i will vote the democratic candidate Barack Obama. The reason is that he try to look for ohers solutions than the war and seems that he really import more about the american people.
