Did you see how happy BJORN BORG was when he saw federer lose!???

I know he didn't show it.....showed respect...but he was actually feeling happy federer didn't break his record!How disgusting is that?

Even before this years wimbledon started,he wrote of federer and said nadal is the favourite! What's wrong with him?

Go out and win 5 straight Wimbledons yourself, and then see if you want anyone to break YOUR record.

If Borg wrote that Nadal was the favorite (maybe because of the way Federer and Nadal have been playing lately), and then  Nadal ended up winning, that's a pretty accurate analysis.

Holding or sharing a record like that is a unique achievement.  

And regardless of how classy or un-classy you think an athlete might be, the fact is, NO ONE likes to see their records broken.    

You think Michael Jordan would be happy if some player came along and averaged 30.2 points per game over their careers and broke his record of 30.1 ppg?

Do  you think Barry Bonds is going to be out there rooting for A-Rod to break his home run record?  Do you think Aaron was rooting for Bonds to break his?

Who do you think Don Shula was rooting for in this year's Super Bowl?  Do you think he wanted the Patriots to go 19-0?   Heck no!

Do you think Pete Sampras sits around rooting for someone to break his record for Grand Slam titles?  Pete IS  a total class act, but he's not gonna be rooting for either of these guys (Federer or Nadal) to get to 15.

And, not only that, but if Federer DID break the record, do you think he'd then be sitting around rooting for someone to win SEVEN in a row?  I doubt it!

Try setting a record yourself, and then see how much you root for someone to come along and break it.

yeah,he was very happy.I think if Federer had won wimbeldon and his 6th title he would have died.because he is so jealouse.he can't stand roger's winning.

I MISSED THE LAST 4 SETS OF THE FREAKING MATCH BECAUSE I WAS SLEEPING!! And therefore didn't see Borg happy when Federer lost. But let me tell you this, I am certainly happy that Federer lost cause he needed to be punished for beating Safin(my favourite).

I agree... I got the vibe that Borg didn't want Federer to break his record. I think Borg should have been supporting Federer to win this, he knows what it's like to win 5 and go for 6.

Ahwell... atleast Federer equalled his record. But yes I agree, I though Borg seemed releived to see Fed lose.
