how far does this total lunatic state extend.

a lady(82yrs old)took photographs of an empty swimming pool and was pounced by a female council official who told her to stop taking photographs and accused her of being a paedophile for photographing some children ,who were a mile away in some trees,,,which the old lady couldnt even see that far,,,,what a sick country we have become,,,no photos at our kids pantomimes or school sports days without the permission of everyone present,

i wish we could turn back the clock and lose the jobsworths who appear to have nothing better to do,how about you?

  1. I couldn't agree more with you on that one! I saw that on the news  yesterday. The thing that came to attention was the fact they had a camera crew filming the pool full of children and that is broadcast nationwide. Where were the officials then? Or does that not count!

  2. yes, blame the corrupt nanny state of this once great nation called GREAT BRITAIN.we are a pathetic race of people.

  3. that's sad.

people make such a big deal out of things that don't really even matter

we should be worring about global warming or world hunger instead!

  4. About time we got rid of all the liberal, tree hugging, yoghurt knitting chattering class PC warriors and got some COMMON SENSE back.

  5. I did and she and her friend were interviewed on TV breakfast GMTV i think it was. This madness must stop, how can two elderly ladies taking pictures of an empty swimming pool, causing no harm to anyone be pounced on this way by some undoubtedly

******** jobsworth. The same goes for anyone these days, take pictures of your children having fun and you are likely to have your collar felt. How the h**l did this ever happen, when totally innocent people are being punished, i don't understand it at all. and its a shame that the two ladies didn't take this jobsworth to court for harassment.

  6. It is sad that the abuse of our legal system has made us all potential criminals and has made life-long criminals into poor victims. That's what happens when we produce ten lawyers for every engineer.

  7. It's such a shame that we have such idiots running our local councils that they can't use their common sense.

There is a difference between protecting children, and accusing anyone who wants to take a picture of their kid in a school play of being a peadophille, which helps no-one. Shame our government is yet to realise this. Another example of unfounded fears leading to over-legislation and erosion of our civil rights.

  8. Then they wonder why normal, sane people are fecking fed up of this big brother, nanny state and want out of the asylum.
