The agency that did the brilliant ad for Dove was approached, but declined the job.

  1. And in a similar vein, the news story on the link below still makes me chuckle.

    It may only be a wax museum / tourist attraction, but the statistics in the third paragraph are quite amazing. And probably reflect real life far more than Brown could ever imagine in his worst nightmares.

  2. They probably didn't fancy being associated with such an unpopular figure, let alone an unpopular political figure.

    Maybe the prospect was too daunting?

    No, they were possibly the wrong agency for the job and knew it.

    The whole thing seems a bit odd, he's a dour Scot and claims to be in control of things, u-turns and all.
