Here it is........what do you think?.....He sounds cool to me.

"What's not to like, man?" he says, not realizing that he's shouting over the tunes pumping through his iPhone ear buds. "This is just a bunch of racers wanting to get out there and get it on. You've got guys with big teams behind them and some guys who are barely making it out here every week. We've got young, old, guys, girls, everybody. But you know what we don't have? Rich a--holes. I've seen enough of them to last me the rest of my life."

  1. That quote makes me realize that no matter how many cars Kyle Busch wrecks and how many races there are that Jr. doesn't win. It's all about racing.

I still hate Kyle Busch and think that he has ruined racing. Oh well.

  2. Good for him. I like him alot and hope me ends up making it into the Cup series. The Sprint Cup needs more drivers like him with less ego.

  3. I like Scott Speed its just too bad he had to waste a yr of his racing life trying to be the next american to do well at F1..Welcome to Stock cars, Scotty, you should have come here in the first place. I saw him in F1 at the Canadian Grand Prix the yr he drove in F1..you have to be in a Ferrari, Mclaren, to do anything anymore expecially if you want to win. Scott is doing it right running ARCA, and probably Nationwide next yr, then to Cup..He is paying his dues the right way...He finished 2nd in Kentucky, way to go Scott..

  4. Formula One is a joke and built on who can caress Bernie's huge ego and feed his gigantic tastes in life. NASCAR still retains the grass-roots ideals of real racing....buy a hot-rod and drive the wheels off the thing. Scott Speed is a quality driver who had no chance in the bureaucratic landmines of F1.

  5. *giggles*  Hope he's got the talent to back his mouth up!

I think it was Darrell Waltrip who said that the best way to make a small fortune in NASCAR is to come in with a big one.
