to veto any such bill to stop price-gouging at the pump. Why would he do this? Any ideas???

its a free market as it should be. every thing the government get in it ruins it. you can not name one thing the the government has taken over that works better.  so you want them to control the prices of what is bought and sold in America too?  THINK PEOPLE.

Who's price gouging?  When the price of the raw materials goes up, so does the price of the end product.  As much as a barrel of oil has increased, we're probably lucky gas isn't 6 or 7 dollars a gallon right now.  Profit margins of the oil companies haven't changed.  Profit margins of the retailers is actually down a little.  Got any examples of any real price gouging?
