Did you spouse told you they regret marriage?

Hello did your spouse ever tell you that she/he regret marrying you? Why did they say that, how did you feel after the news?

There is not a mariage that one or the other has not felt regret in. Come on, at some point everyone feels it. It's just not suppose to mean it has to end in divorce. Hopefully, you resolve the issue that made you feel that way and move on to the next regret

My husband told me he had "18 1/2 years of oppressive marriage" after I discovered he had been IMing his girlfriend from High School (graduated in '83). I felt horrible and indicated to him that I hadn't.  I told him I was holding on to the good memories we had. I later forgave him for saying that, indicating that people say things out of anger.  Withing a short period of time (a couple months) he started the affair, moved out and moved halfway across the country to be with her leaving behind a beautiful wife (myself) and two great loving daughters (elementary and middle school age).  I guess we'll see if one can return to High School...

When my husband left me for this S****y ho, he told me he wasted the last 8 years of his life with me.  We have a daughter together and I basically supported his lazy a**.  I was shocked when he said it, and did feel real bad for awhile until I realized that it was MY life that had been wasted.  What a troll.

Yep...she did tell me that several times. Now i don't talk to her and refuse to even consider her a friend. she is the mother of my daughter and she gets her due respect for that. I have vowed to give my little girl the best life I can and if that means staying married to a woman I can't stand and put on a brave face about it, I will to keep my little girl happy.

Yeah, he said that.  I said well buddy, seeing as how you feel that way, you're really gonna be SOOO much sorrier when I get done with you.  He was and I got the house and alimony.

my first husband did and it hurt at the time.  but i got over it and moved on and later realized it was the best thing he could have done for me.  neither of us was happy in our marriage and now we have both found spouses we are happy with.
