  1. There are no courses in the Academic world as part of the school curriculum you have to educate yourself.

Although Buffett has been successful, but he started in an entirely different market, this is not to say you don't buy value, but the buy and hold mentality is getting passe.

The markets are different now then they were, Buffutt never had to deal with hedge fund investors, a larger number of mutual funds or computerized trading.

Here are some books for you to read, yes one of them is a Buffett book but you shouldn't got too hung up on him

The first book you should read is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

    Then try some of these

  2. You don't need to study finance or investing at a university level unless you plan on getting a job with an investment firm. All the information you need is available online for free.

  3. Most schools teach nothing about investing (That's a shame)

Most of your education comes AFTER you get out of college.

Here's a good place to start if you want to understand the stock market and investing

  4. Degree in maths then a master in finance. Although I was not taught the above in school. I took an unusual interest in the stock market (unlike pretty much everyone else) & read all the books & advice I could find. All I can say is "Now who's laughing!"
