Did you think that George Bush cause 9/11?

I've heard a lot of theories saying George Bush caused the September 11th attacks.

The reasons being:

1. Because his father was angry with Iraq when he was the president, so this way they could get revenge

2. He would be able to blame it on terrorists and would get to start a war

3. By starting the war he would be able to take their oil

4. He would have power over another country

What is your opinion?

  1. That's all BUNK............as for the NEW WORLD ORDER.......if this is fact.....lets name EVERYONE on the list of members.  I just HATE parcial truths.


  2. That theory is bullcrap.  It's ridiculous to think that George Bush is intelligent enough to pull off a crime that monumental.

  3. no... i did think that he caused it but now i know that he didn't caused it...i don't want to get all religious but...that's a prophecy...it was supposed to happen

  5. If you were to follow the trail in reverse you would have to come to the conclusion that it was DADDY's actions prior to the first Gulf War that tilted the scale towards the inevitable anti American action by Osama bin Laden.

If he was angry with Iraq, he could have just continued bombing them like his dad and Clinton did.  He didn't need to create terrorists to do battle with.  Very little oil is coming from the region and it is already owned by U.S. oil companies.  The U.S. has power over enough countries and enough oil already.  9/11 was just what Osama Bin Laden said it was, a retaliation for U.S. interference in the Middle East.

  8. No, I don't think he caused it. I think he used it as an excuse to go after Saddam, who was one of Bush Sr.'s enemies from when he was in office. Funny how Iraq has more of our troops than Afganistan, which is where Osama Bin Laden supposedly is. I think Bush is going to let the man who murdered thousands of US citizens go because he was more interested in getting Sadam. I guarantee we had the chance to find Osama and now we probably never will.  

  9. Oh please, muslims attacked the US. GW didn't have anything to do with it. The buildings weren't blown up. There weren't any missiles fired from the planes that hit the building before hand.

    And for the last time, the Iraq war wasn't about oil. If it was, we would have seized and KEPT the Iraqi oil fields and for that matter, the entire country. Instead we are pulling out with the final departure date somewhere around 16 months from now.

  11. When Bush was elected, other countries laughed.  Therefore, Bush definitely had something to do with the cause.  Other countries lost much respect for the US because of Bush.

                   Obviousely, that hasn't worked very well has it? We are 5 years later and Iraq is producing and selling their own oil. He so far haven't stolen a drop? Where is this cheap or free oil you speak of, I'd like some myself.

               Again, there is nothing to gain in hindsight. We gave the country over to the people immediately. He does not have "power" over another country.

    You theories are totally wrong and not thought out very well. 9/11 was caused by mideast terrorists in the throws of ideology. Many other such acts of terrorism have been committed by Islamic loons in the 30 years before 9/11, so why would somehow this incident be specifically a Bush job and cover up? It makes no logical sense.

  16. it's funny that a lot of people are saying no to this question. actually, there's plenty of info that g w bush could have at least assisted the 9/11 attacks. even if he didn't really, he had too much naive power to begin with, and wants to take over the world, so that would be a perfectly good reason to do so, i guess. our gov is holding back so much important info, such as on the war, extraterrestrials in area 51, and recent unexplained deaths. bush is extremely reckless, and there is a whole book out on how he could have easily started 9/11. too bad i can't remember the name of it, though... sorry. :)

No, and people here that say he did cause, knowingly or unknowingly are just fools.  That attack was being planned before he even took office, he was in office for less than 8 months when that happened.  And we are not taking Iraqi oil, they are making money from their own oil, we are just helping them rebuild their oil field infrastructure.  American owned oil companies may be working over there, but they are not just taking the oil without paying the Iraqis.  In Iraq, the US military, with the help of our allies, liberated a people who were living in fear of a mass murderer and someone who had no problem gassing his own people, just to keep his own power.  He lived in luxury, while the people of his country were living in extreme poverty and fear of speaking their minds.  It was not about having control of another country, it was about taking down a very cruel man (to his own people) and dangerous man (to the rest of the world).

    but i do believe that he took part, unknowingly to provoke the incident.

    i read somewhere that iraq attacked the usa because he was helping israel or some other nation (correct me if im wrong) and iraq was jealous.

    also, i do agree that our troops are there to collect oil

    he was at a childrens classroom, while he got news  that osama will be bombing the twin towers.

  30. YES. I feel he should have alerted everyone when he got the documents of a possible threat of America. Watch the movie Fahrenheit 9-11. That tells it all. Bush knew about this before it happened.  

  31. Nah, the U.S. government didn't perpetrate the attacks.  Al-Qaeda claimed responsibilty for it.

    But I'd bet any amount of money the Air Force shot down the "Let's roll!" plane over Pennsylvania.  It was headed for the White House.
