Wedding planners are a waste of money, unless you are spending some huge over-the-top amount on your wedding anyway, which is also a waste of money. I've seen planners charge $2,000-$4,000.

I do everything myself, and help friends and families plan weddings and parties. It's not that difficult.

No i did not....but for the sheer amount of choice and details- i can see why people would. But i believe they are an unnecessary expense rather than a must have.

Would never hire a wedding planner... A waste of money and you don't get the joy of doing it yourself!

Yes, I married her, she arranged absolutely everything.

I just turned up on the day.

Anyone who pays for one, I believe is not putting his heart and soul into a very precious day.
