  1. The EU is increasingly positioning itself to become the world's next super-power.  With the decline of US influence in the world, and economic power due to the 'planned' de-valuation of the dollar (by China, Venezuela, et al,), the EU is now in a position to wield international influence as never before.  Many European countries have recently implemented restrictions on the number of immigrants from Muslim (North African) countries, thus enraging Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who has threatened to cut off oil to them.

A new world scenario is forming, with the EU, led by Germany, to "pick up the pieces" so to say, and possibly confront radical Islam.  If successful, they would be in a position for world domination, something Germany has wanted ever since the Roman Empire.  With a German Pope and a strong military and economic alliance between EU countries, look for a push toward a 'christian' Europe, and the US in a diminishing role in international affairs.

Ray:  if you look at my answer, I said, Venezuela et al, meaning others.  The euro is one of the others.  China is flooding the market with dollars in favor of the yen especially in oil purchases, as are a number of other countries.  I am not un-american.  I am 100% American, but unfortunately, the country I love and would die for is caught up in a world that wants to destroy us.  You don't think this 'move' toward globalization is designed to strip us of our soverignty?  I'm only stating facts concerning the development of another 'world power'.  If we don't wake up and take notice I am seriously concerned about the future of our country as we know it.  I remember when America was the most respected, powerful, and loved nation ever.  Now we have enemies on all sides planning to ruin us.  I respect your opinion, but there's just not enough space to totally express mine, but thanks for the comments, anyway.  As far as being a military power, after WWII, Germany was prohibited from arming itself, and that held true for many years.  Now, however, they have forces in the UN peace keepers in Lebanon and other places.  Other EU countries like France, possess nuclear weapons.  Germany could obtain nuclear weapons any time they wanted to, and one is all it takes to make a statement about being a 'military power,'

    THANK YOU, WILLOW

  2. The rebuilding of Rome. We should start looking for the Anti- Christ.

  3. I look at the EU as museum directors and that part of the would as one big museum The people that support the E U are like the staff in a modern art museum the displays are c**p by they stand there acting stuffy and smug to give it an air of importance If you say anything like ''I don't understand how are can you call a pile of coke bottles and condoms art?'' They look down on you as uneducated But they make min wage and really just spend their life standing in one spot

emma-nem Y'all so amusing and uninformed The planned devaluation of the dollar by China How silly we have been trying for years to get them to raise the value of the yuan E U strong military thank you for the entrainment Let me guess your anti American and a euro supporter sorry I repented my self

''I remember when America was the most respected country in the world'' what your remembering is the cold war and 'they needed our protection from them Now it's a whole new ball game and 'they'  feel free to say what ever they want now with the cold war over

I lived over the pond during jimmy carter and the hostage crisis they would say ''They have your people and you can do nothing ha ha he he" does that sound like respect to you?

They have always felt we Americans are inferior to them They twist our history they have never been nor ever well be our friends

  4. I have been banging on about this very topic for ages, I have actually ploughed through the Lisbon Treaty and read as much as I could stomach about the evil intentions behind the EU. It is all there on the web, the irony is, not many seem that interested in what is surely the biggest threat to the future autonomy of this country.

  5. Knowing what I know now!I am sure I was right to oppose this Treaty!
